What are starchy foods?

B vitamins which make up the starchy food are also an important source for the body. They help in the well functioning of the different metabolic functions such as the formation of red blood cells. It also helps the body to use the fats, carbohydrates and proteins from our food. Foliate which is an important B vitamin is mainly found in dark green leafy vegetables like the cabbage, spinach, Brussels sprouts and other fortified breakfast cereals.

Thus it is always good to take in as much starchy food that you body should require in order to keeping us fit.
